North Yorkshire Youth (NYY) formally Youth Clubs North Yorkshire (YCNY) is a registered charity that was established in 1941 to support and deliver services to people living in York and North Yorkshire. Since then North Yorkshire Youth has grown and in addition to supporting work with young people we own and operate Carlton Lodge Outdoor Centre, Thirsk. An 84 bed residential centre for outdoor learning set in 12 acres of parkland, with our own stunning 4 acre lake.
