Carlton Lodge receives £18,000 to enhance the opportunities for Children and Young People

Carlton Lodge is delighted to announce that as part of its Renewal and Refurbishment Project it has received a grant of £18,000. A Grant of £10,000 has been Funded by Awards for All through the Big Lottery Fund. This will pay for some caving helmets so that we can meet a growing demand for taking up to 48 children and young people caving. For renewing our archery equipment and for equipment to support our water sports and ropes activities including the high ropes, climbing and abseiling. A Grant of £8,000 funded from Yorkshire Forward's Renaissance Market Town - Delegated Fund, administered by North Yorkshire County Council, will be used to improve our accommodation for those children and young people who come to Carlton Lodge on a residential programme. We are most grateful for the support of the Big Lottery and Yorkshire Forward for supporting our charity in its endeavours to enhance our provision of residential and day programmes of adventurous development activities for children and young people.
